Who is this course for?
This course is ideal for anyone experiencing digestive issues, bloating, fatigue, as well as those looking to improve their overall wellbeing. This course is intended to lay the foundations for good gut health, whether or not you need more
specialised treatment in addition.
What will I learn?
When I started putting together this program, my priority was to ensure that it didn't just give you the science behind digestive health and the gut-brain
connection, but also provided practical, step-by-step guidance that could really make a difference in how you feel.
In following the program you will gain insight into the foods that make you
personally feel the best, and experience the impact of a relaxed nervous system on your digestion. These are tools you can use for life!
What is the process?
During the 28 days you will be following a gold-standard elimination diet free from gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, corn and added sugars.
You will be provided with guidance on how to reintroduce these foods in a
structured way after the 28 days to identify any individual food sensitivities.
Also provided are short gut-directed hypnosis and breathwork sessions
(5-15 minutes) that are designed to be listened to daily, with the intention of
regulating your nervous system.
During the month it's recommended that you watch the video modules to
properly understand the science behind the program, and what other practices, supplements or testing you can use to support your gut health.
Do I need any special equipment or ingredients?
While a few common kitchen items and ingredients will be necessary for the recipes, most can be found at your local supermarket, and swaps are provided to give you more choices. For the hypnosis and breath work sessions, all you need is a quiet space to relax and listen.
How is the course delivered?
The Gut Reset is delivered entirely online, allowing you to revisit the resources at any time in the future.
If I have food allergies or specific dietary requirements, is this course
suitable?
The recipes provided are all free from gluten, dairy, egg, soy, corn and added
sugar. I provide guidance in the first module on how to safely reintroduce foods at the 28 day mark to identify sensitivities.
If for any reason you don't want to cut out a particular food - no problems! This is your journey.
If you react to other foods, for example FODMAPs, please use the recipes at your discretion. Most can be easily modified, and you are welcome to use the meal plan as a loose guide only.
Tell me about the optional add-on supplement pack?
This contains three practitioner-grade supplements that can support digestion and promote a healthy gut microbiome through prebiotics and particular strains of
probiotics.
The supplements included are:
- Designs for Health ZymeGest: a broad-spectrum digestive enzyme supplement for gastrointestinal support.
- Spectrumceuticals Pro4-50: a low histamine forming probiotic formula providing 4 strains of bacteria with 50 billions colony forming units per capsule.
- Ariya Partially Hydrolysed Guar Gum (PHGG): a prebiotic dietary fibre that
selectively feeds beneficial bacteria in the gut and may improve bowel regularity. This must be taken at least 2 hours away from medications as it can inhibit absorption.
